I've had my tank setup for a few weeks now. I currently have a four snails, four sand shifting snails, one small panther grouper, and one small wolf eel.

Anyway, I've started to notice that there are some clumps of sand in certain spots. I can usually get the net or something and break them up without a problem. However, I really don't know what it is or what's causing it.

Any ideas?

It's 90gallons.

It is fully cycled. The fishes are doing great. Eating well. I had bought some bacteria when I first started the tank to kick start the cycling process. All tests come back normal and looking good.

Yes, there is about 110 pounds of live rock.

WOW! That many snails, huh? The four that I have are zebra turbo snails... they are pretty huge. LOL. I couldn't see having 75 of those in there...

The clumps of sand sometimes when you first set up the tank is air pockets underneath the sand that form...should go away if thats what im thinkin of.
