CO2 diffusion VS CO2 reactor

I am trying to decide which is the best method for dissolving CO2 into a tank. From searching around and reading threads, it seems like a variety of methods are used. I am leaning towards either a bubble ladder or a DIY reactor (powerhead and python method). From everyone's experience or reading, does one work better than the other or are they equivalent?

I have a 75g tank and currently have a DIY CO2 set up. I would like to move to a pressurized system eventually though. Getting a hang of it before I spend the money for the system.

I would assume that the reactor would be able to handle more bubbles better than the ladder could.

The ladder is cheaper than the DIY set up for the reactor, but in the long run if the reactor is better, I will go for that.

Yes, if you're going pressurized eventually, you may as well go for the powerhead reactor. You will need to watch out that your yeast bottles are kept fresh, otherwise the reactor will start to suck the bottles, and you could end up with yeast mixture in the tank (a big disaster). You'll always have problems getting a good level of CO2 in that size of tank until you get pressurized.

Haha, well that sounds like fun. I think that is why some probably go with the ladder so they don't have to worry about that. Thanks for the help.

If anyone else has had used either of these or something else, let us know! I have found lots of conversation about different types of diffusion/reactors but nothing really comparing them.
