I honestly think the DIY yeast will be cheaper and only have to worry about it once every 3 or so weeks. It works very well for me.

i've read alot about the diy co2 and it does seem cheaper in the long run my family owns a resteraunt so i can get plenty of sugar lol they get 50lb bags of it enought to give a kid a major sugar high for years hehe maybe i'll try the diy see how i like it what i'm concerned about is iheard when replacing the sugar it stinks and controlling the amount of co2 in the water since i have a a good amount of fish but some are there temperary b/c i got a used 20 gal and fishes from a friend and i am working on getting resealing and sanding+repaint the stand also needs a hood the guy broke his hood
