I don't see why it wouldn't be. CO2 isn't explosive/flammable. Hence it being in certain fire extinguishers. Now if it were oxygen, then yes, I wouldn't doubt it'd be highly illegal.
actually co2 tanks are dangerous if it is damaged cause it can explode, not the co2 but the pressure and stuff. not too sure how it all happens so i was asking if it was dangerous but i'm quite sure i've read in mulitple places that it was illegal but didn't feel like looking them up
