"Cob webs" on gravel

I just finished cycling my twenty nine gallon eclipse.  I don't have a timer for my lights and got sick of turning them on and off with no fish to look at so I just left them off.  Then when I turned them on I noticed this white, wispy matter covering all the gravel that I had added from my established tank.  It looks like cob webs.  ??? I was wondering if it was some sort of fungus or white algae or what?  Will it hurt my fish? (Just added 6 painted white skirt tetras)  I think I might try to gravel vacuum it away.
Has anyone ever seen these "cob webs" in their tank before?

i'm thinkin it' fungus i had that on my 20 gal when it finally cycled and i put some fishes in it went away after a week or so but u could try and vacum it up maybe it iscaused by nutrients i'm not sure, mine was gone in about two weeks

I've noticed what I believe is a whitish bacterial bloom on my swahala root wood after I put it in my tank two weeks ago. Your cobwebs might be simular. I'm not too woried about it I've had this sort of thing happen before and it just went away after a while.

The "cob webs" are almost completely less than 24 hours after adding four cories.  Whatever it was, they ate it.

I think mine dissapeared when fish ate it or stirred it up as well.
