my family and i spent two weeks in Europe recently, which was nice. when i returned home, however, i had lost almost every single fish in my 45 gallon. I have 4 fish left, my leopard ctenopoma and my 3 cory schwartzi.
after testing water parameters i attributed the deaths to a couple fish who died and then didnt get pulled out by the person who was feeding them, creating a poor living environment. I pulled out at least 7 white, fuzzy bodies last night after my flight and tore out the fake plants that had been hiding the slaughter.
now im back at square 1.5. I need a creative-ish, interesting decor set up along with stocking plans. Currently i have a 13 inch battle ship (couldnt resist having a battleship in my tank) and a nice sized piece of driftwood. I have one other piece of driftwood, but have yet to soak it.
