would a 2 gallon tank be too small for a common clown, if so are there any other saltwater fish i could put in it that would fit.

far to small...at least ten gallons for a clown i would say...there are probably no SW fish that can be housed in a two gallon tank...at least none that i can think of

Way to small. Maybe a really small blenny or goby. It wouldn't stay in there for long.

you could put crabs ect in there but no real fish, there is a pom pom crab that would be a nice addition to a tank that small because it is an interesting specimen

A few sexy shrimp would be an interesting display.

yeah too small--try an invert or two (maybe small shrimp/crabs--like a couple of hermit crabs)

i would go with a pair of camel or pepermint shrimps and perhaps some blue legged hermits and a few astrea snails...i suppose, in theory, you could keep sun polyps if you wanted as well, since they require no light, but you may not want to get involved in feeding coral at this stage...how familiar are you with saltwater? 2 gallons is a bad way to start imo
