Pleco

Personally i wouldnt have thought the baby plattys would be harming the pleco, specially if he is a decent size. My mollys do that to my little dwarf pleco's on the odd occasion and they barely even notice it. I think its just the plattys being themselves and picking round the tank and as the pleco's sit there nice and quietly most of the time the plattys may just consider them part of the furniture, so to speak. Unless it is consistant and seems to be hurting the pleco i would suspect he'd be ok, they're tough little guys. Maybe someone with more experience may have more or better info but i dont think it'll be a concern for u.

I agree. I'm sure the platies are just scavenging for food, and they just happen to be scavenging directly on the pleco. I would seriously doubt that they would be able to do the plec any harm whatsoever.

Back when I had platies, the fry used to hang around very close to my clown pleco...even underneath his little log and everything. It kept them safe from the other adult fish in the tank, and he tolerated them pretty well. At feeding time, the plec would simply raise his fins and swish his tail back and forth to scare off the platies.

I was more worried about the platies being harmed than anything else. I'm sure your plec will be just fine. ;)
