common pleco

ive had my pleco for about 3 months now and just within the last 2-3 weeks he has been pooping like crazy.. he leaves big longgggggg strands of poop everywhere in the tank. they even somehow get on the tip of the plants and a plastic flower i have in there they land in there and a lot starts to gather on them. he also just started eating algae waffers about 2 weeks ago. he would never eat them till recently. everytime i see the pleco he has a big long poop coming out..

this is common for plecos, they are huge huge huge waste producers. I Hope he is not in your 10 gallon tank.

Also i hope you know that COMMON pleco's can grow up to 24 inches in length.

Lol, get used to it
Plecs are pooping machines. It'll only get worse as he gets bigger! xD Vaccuming the tank like a crazy person should help with the buildup
