Common Starfish

We live in Australia & while walking on the beach today we came across some starfish in a rock pool, Will they be ok to put on our saltwater tank?

I would QT it first. Then again, is where you got it clean?(as in the beach)

I would be very leary about adding something unknown to my tank and in some places collecting specimens is illegal. Also, if it doesn't work out you won't or shouldn't re-introduced it to the wild as you may spread something non-indigenous or invasive from your tank to the wild...... all around kind of unethical.
