Neons-if I can get them to survive long enough.  One always mysteriously disappear per month in my heavily planted tank

Clown Loaches

SAE-getting very fond of them although they are not the most colorful fish but respect them for their effortless job in algae eating

I think he means freshwater, it is in the freshwater section. You knew it! Do you only have salt now? You sold your pleco...what did you do with that 55 in your room? I think you told me you took those fish into the shop...i don't remember tho. Do you have a favorite freshwater fishy? did you tell me already? was it the ID cat? :)

I still have two fresh tanks, one with my pleco and clown loaches, and the pirahnas. Pirahnas are my favorite community fish ::)

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.... I work in a fish store and im having trouble thinking of freshwater community fish (lol) :) My 'community' tanks have were large catfish... I really liked the tiger shovelnose cats I had, but in most situations, they ain't community fish. Um... I like angelfish. (marine and fresh). They can be considered freshwater community fish :)

Hey Kitten, can you tell me if you have live sand there and what is that white sand called?  Also do you have live rock and how much should I pay for live sand anyways?

um, what? What exactly are you asking me? I don't keep saltwater tanks. We have live sand i guess, white sand is just silica sand, most people call it glass sand here. Live rock is about $8 a KG. I wouldn't have a clue how much you should pay for live sand...

which country are you living in?

Let's see... My favorite community fish are barbs. Some people say you can only keep them species, but I am succsesfully keeping 9 barbs with platies and a red-tailed shark. My favorite barbs...

1. Tiger Barbs
2. Black Ruby Barbs (it's so hard to find good quality ones though)
3. Long-finned neon Ruby Barbs

Okay well... That's my input :)

Woops, I got kinda confused.  I was referring to ownbykitten.  Sorry.

Considering the question wasn't even supposed to be directed to her, she did a damn good job answering it :) *tears* I'm so proud *tears*

Thats just silica sand... you can go with live sand if you want, it should be no more than like $3 US a lb.But, its nearly impossible to buy live sand in Canada, unless its special order, so we don't have it here :)
