Companions for Cichlids?

At work, I recently got the job of maintaining the company fish tank. Mind you, it is only 45 gallons, but it is now my duty to care for it. Currently it is stocked with about 6, 2 inch African Cichlids and 1 pleco which is about 2.5 in. Anyway, I was wondering what would be some good fish to add that are compatible?

Other African Cichlids. They are too agressive to be with community fish. "Mixing the Meanies" as my lfs said in an article they wrote, relates to what I am saying. Most of the time African Cichlids are only compatible with other African Cichlids.
