Compatibility

I have some Kribensis cichlids that I would like to mix with my Betta. Since Kribs are bottom dwellers and Bettas are essentially surface dwellers, would it be safe to mix the two species?

My concern is that these fish may abandon their preffered habitat(s) and attack one another since they may be threatened by one another.

Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

Mix only if you want a dead Betta

I wouldn't either, the krib would probably get a little aggressive.
