constipation

Hello,

Can someone please help my betta? He has constipation, I have given him some lettuce and a sweet pea but nothing is relieving him. He has not moved his bowels, he still has a balloon stomach. What can I do to help him?

I reccomened not feeding your betta for a few days and go from there. Fish can live for long periods of time without food as a natural survival method so that will give him time to digest and maby reduce some of the swelling. After the 3 or so days I would feed him soft peas like you were for a while untill you are sure he is ok.
