so they convict babies finally hatched. they've been out and free swimming for about 5 days now. my question is this: what do i need to do for them? they seem to be getting along just fine at this point. the parents are very protective and taking good care of them. im concerned that there are certain nutritional or developmental needs that i am not meeting for them at this point. any help would be greatly appreciated.

they dont need anything fancy

what size is your tank?

cons breed insanely fast, the guppy of the cichlid family. when they lay again theyll strat killing off the fry you have now to make room. make sure to have homes for them. and after awhile the pair will begin gettinh very aggressive

the pair has become extremely aggressive. im thinking convicts may not be my choice...

ive kept them before but not as many. i have 4 convicts in a 55 gallon and now they're all starting to become insane.

im not sure what to do with the fry once they're bigger, there are about 40+ of them still alive right now.
