ok, im kinda new with cichlids and breeding, but i heard that it was pretty easy to breed convicts so i bought a pair about a month and a half ago. I have never seen any kind of fish eggs or anything but i think i have some now. I was just wondering what you all thought, and maybe what i should do about it if i do have them.
I have a picture, not very good, but maybe you can tell what they are.

Hard to tell from the picture.

If you do have eggs just let nature take its course. Don't worry about feeding the fry right off, they have egg sacks and will feed off "stuff" in the water/algae. Let the parents try and raise them so they can get some practice, incase the first spawn doesn't go as planned.

Congrats, and good luck....i'm sure you won't have any problem with convict breeding. :)
