Convicts in a 20H

Could you keep a pair of convicts in a 20H? There would be no other fish in the tank, of course. A pair of convicts sounds like a lot of fish for a 20H.

The tank has a Penguin 170 and a Regent 5-15 (trying to convert to Penguin mini).

hmmm. it would be hard once they get fully grown. but if your gonna keep babies it shouldnt be a problem, but once they get big they would tear each other up!

1 pair should be no problem even full grown, they will eat their young if you leave them in that tank for the next breeding "season". I'll give more info later gotta run!

yea 2 convicts in a 20 gallons sounds about right,especialy if your trying to breed them.just remember that convicts breed like rabbits and the fry can be hard to get rid of.

2 in a 20 should be fine, fry are hard to get rid of although mine never ate their babies so they are still with the adults (are about 3/4") which is fine with me because they eat the eggs so more babies arent born, need to get rid of them but my mom is attached
