Hey, Cichlid-Man, were in Wilmington, DE by chance? I was at the LFS today and saw around 50 convict babies. LOL. They were going for $1 a piece. So, of course, I had to pick up a couple. Kinda hard to tell if they're male or female. But I guess I'll know soon enough.

What do you feed your convict babies? My babies seemed to like flake food and bottom feeder sinking pellets.

I feed mine Liquid Fry about a week after they hatch then i start feeding them fine flake food. I make the flakes bigger through time until you can use normal sized flakes.

It is close to impossible to distinguish between Male/Female at a young age. I am watching mine trying to find a way to "cure" this "problem". :-D
