Convicts?

I am gettin a 29g fishtank pretty soon and I am not sure what other fish live well with Convicts because I know that they can be very territorial. If anyone could suggest some small fish, prefferably Cichlids and not much bigger than 6 inches that would be great...Thanks..*thumbsups

Two convicts will take the whole tank as their own and not allow any other cichlid.
If you wind up with a pair, they may not allow any other fish at all in a tank that size.

As Dino suggests, only two convicts is your best bet. They will bully other fish in a tank that size.

tiger barbs (i had those in with my convicts a while ago)
now i have a rainbow shark temporarily in there, and they ignore eachother

Tiger barbs are nippers though. The convicts would run the risk of getting their fins nipped, especially the male.

And once again, if they are a pair, they will kill anything else in a tank that size.

I'll just second the opinion that a mating pair of convicts will almost certainly not allow any other fish in a 29g tank...

my convicts ignored the tiger barbs as well as the rainbow shark that's in there now. the barbs were afraid of them; i wouldnt worry about having the convict's fins nipped. but to be safe i would keep them alone. they'd probably like the space better.
