Select from 2 of the following (interchangeable):
• Labidochromis caeruleus - trio
• Iodotropheus sprengerae - trio
• Pseudotropheus socolofi - trio
• Pseudotropheus sp. "acei" - trio

I dunno, seems kinda crowded, though I heard that is what you do with africans to keep agression down.

Anyway, what africans would I be able to keep in my 20 gal high? I am not really in to sheller dwellers.

Tanks!

My advice. Don't look at those cookie cutter setups. They are pretty overcrowded.

Of course........Lake Malawi has tons of fish in all parts, thats why people keep so many malawi's together. They want it like the bio-type. If you were to dive the lake, you would think some parts are overcrowded....but thats just how it is.

20gal high won't be good for much. A pair of Angels, or a pair of rams, or shelldwellers (and even then its not a big footprint)

A 20 long is a lot different to a 20 high. There's a bunch of stuff you can keep in a 20 long. But unfortunately for cichlid purposes a 20 high is a bit of a waste.

Whoa i didn't say all that. Thats overstocking right there. I was saying either/or. either a pair of angels or a pair of rams....not both.
Sorry C-Man, if i wrong quoted u.
But i wont call tht overstocking in a 20 gal long tank. Provided wth 40% water change every 3-4 days i think it could fit both angels & rams i believe
