Coral Question Leather Toadstool

I have 3 in my tank and one seems to being eaten it has like missing holes on the top part and today at night i saw a little white crab on top of it like eating its top part its this posible should i take out the crab what kind of crab is it i didnt put it in were did it came from did it come with the coral
well i did check it out in fact it was a little white crab that was nibeling on the top part of the leather toadstool coral has some one had this problem before here are some pics

Well if you saw the little crab eating your toadstool, and you didn't put it in there then you can assume it was a hitchiker on your live rock or coral. I would like to see a better picture of it as the ones in your post are hard to see.

Your leather may simply be rotting out...this does happen. If this is the case the crab is probably just scavening.

yeah those spots look like it's rotting. White,hard, porous and powdery substance = rot.

is it going to die or ist it going to regenerate

most likely it will die...unless you cut the rotten parts...but once the infection starts, it could rot inside

well most likly the crabs wouldnt eat it unless it was already dieing.... sry
