Just ordered the Coralife Aqualight 24" 1x65W for my 20 gallon tank. Just wondering if you guys found it's truly worth the investment? BTW actually got it on sale at hellolights.com, ah the benefits of shopping online... :p

I think the Coralife units are one of the cheapest available! And they are nice. :) If you're serious about planted tanks, you'll soon discover that the lighting is expensive. I think we've spent about $500 on various light fixtures in the last few months

Need some light help

I am putting together a nice big 120 gallon aquarium, it will have a nice stand and canopy. I need to know what brands of PCF or T5 light fixtures will fit in a 48 inch hood. More specifically, ones that don't have side discharging fans, side air intakes or power cords and/or switches. You help is much appreciated.
