cories/ottos

how do you make sure cories and ottos get enough to eat? i have the algae wafers that sink to the bottom, but many times i see my gouramis pecking them to pieces, even if i drop them in after the light is out for the night... any other suggestions? thanks...

feed the gouramis something that will distract them or feed extra food.i have the same problem all my fish feed at the bottom .to distract my rams and neons i feed frozen daphina and that will preoccupy them long enough so that the bottom feeders get a chance to start eating.
