I bought 2 corries recently to replace my one that dies and keep my remaining one happy,now he's much more content.One of them has no whiskers at the front and the other one has just little stubs for his whiskers.They don't seem to bother them.Will they grow back?
If they have always been like this since you bought them it is most likely that the fish store you got them from was keeping them in sharp gravel/ sand, and this had damaged there barbels. Not sure if they will grow back, but i would of thought no.
I have seen quite a few grow back(and quickly too), but it's possible that one is gone beyond the point of regeneration. I would expect the other to grow back though, provided you have a suitable substrate.
