I got three spotted cories the other month, when I first got them they were busy feeding around the bottom, constantly moving around. Now they are pretty placid, not moving around a bunch. In fact they usually either line up tail to tail or beside each other, all facing the same direction for long periods of time. Are they okay, is this normal behavior?

Sounds like it. Sometime they can be real spazzes (especially when you first get them) and then they tend to calm down a bit. Somedays are just meant to be lazy days:)

As long as your water parameters are in check, your other fish are okay, and they're eating well - everything should be fine:)

during the daytime i noticed on the weekend that they just lie there all day! You kinda think they are dead until the occasional move they do to another part of the tank. i have 3 panda cories and they sit like one in the middle and the other 2 on opposite ends of a 10 gal tank. it's like they own the area. one or two of them actually run and hide behind the decorations when they see me coming, probably don't like me cause i do weekly water changes on their tank, but don't run when my gf comes looking at them. Then at night around 12am i noticed in the dim lighting they are spazzing out all of them swimming up and down the glass sniffing around the gravel. while another is surfing the bubble wall. They seem to be very nocturnal type of fishes to me. wierd little things.
