I have two Emerald Cories in my tank, their quite small, around 1.5 inches. Recently, I noticed one of them has a split in its fins, the dorsal fin area. The area in between the fin rays seems to be split open, its not too severe, a tiny piece of skin is missing in between, not split.
Im wondering if this is serious and what caused this? Ammonia and nitrite are 0 and temps around 78-80. There are no fin-nippers in the tank, just guppies and a african frog. Will it grow back on its own? I recently moved them into a larger tank, this might have upset them? Its been a week since the move and they took it quite well.

So your thinking physical damage. Any special precautions as of now? I read something about feeding a high Vit. C diet. I have mainly all smooth rocks, and live plants. Might be when i netted it, but it didn't show up right after.
