Ok my cories are doing something that they never used to do in the old tank. I thought that maybe they weren't getting enough oxygen or something at first, but I checked and all the levels in the tank are great.

So...they swim and sort of entertwine with each other, then the one keeps swimming up the side of the glass and into the spray bar flow and swims across the tank and comes back to do it again. I am getting tired just watching!!!

Please tell me that all this swimming is because they are now happy happy happy with their big new home!!!

Thanks!

Cories, for some reason, seem to enjoy physical contact and sensations. Could be because they are a school species, and having water over their bodies, or shimmying entwined with each other reminds them of schooling.

Cories also entice each other to spawn by shimmying against each other. They also fight for dominance by doing the same thing.

I had a cory once who simply loved to sit on the airstone. Would sit in the bubbles for hours. No idea why.

Sounds ok. They like high dissolved oxygen and flowing water. Sounds like they're having a good time.
Do you keep your water very warm - try turning down the temp to 72 or 73, see if it stops - if so , low dissolved oxygen

My cories lately have taken up "dancing" and they are fine. It just seems like they are having fun swimming together. They make a giant ball of fish and zip around the tank.

So I vote for having fun and happy fish!
