anybody know what kind of cory is on the right side of the pic below?

I'd say its a Juli Cory.....one of the most common. Cute fish you got there.

ooooooh COOL!!...i had heard people talking about them here, and I didn't know what they looked like. I got that little cutie at petsmart and i think they just had him labeled "misc corydoras"...he gets along great with my 2 other peppered cories.

I have two sorta like that...Petsmart random name strikes again. Mine were called "spotted cories" @ Petsmart when I got them.

Yep, looks like Julii cory. Cories are adorable and fun fish.

I had a couple of Julii cories...they were awesome. They were really tough little buggers too, I never had as many problems with them, as I did with my other fish.

Actually....I do think that's Corydoras trilineatus

I think so, too, Fruitbat. It's kind of hard to tell the two apart, and I have sometimes seen both in the same tank, both labeled as Julii. As far as I know the main difference is that Julii have spots on the head, while trilineatus have broken lines (but I could be wrong).

They're great fish, either way
