Cory sizes?

I have a quick question.
I have 2 cories, a julii and a peppered, the thing is that they are radically different sizes.
My peppered is about 4 cms long but my julii is about 6.5 cms long and when you look at them next to each other the julii looks more or less double the size of the peppered.
I know that the julii is older but i've had the peppered for a while now, i reckon long enough for it to grow full size.
Is there actually a size difference between the two varieties or do i have a freakishly small/large cory?!

I have two peppered cories and one is much bigger than the other. I'm not sure but I think it's because the bigger is female and the smaller male.

Generally it's said that julii cories can grow up to 2", while peppered cories grow up to 2 1/2". So there is a size difference. The important part to read there, however, is "up to", which means some will reach full their length, while others will not.

Yes. Cories come in a lot of sizes

You should see how tiny my pandas are in relation to the albinos and bronze cories.

Then, I have my Emerald "cory" (which is Brochis splendens) and he's pushing 3.5"....I hope he gets to 4-5"

Place a giant cory (or almost any cory) next to a pygmy cory and you will have David vs. Goliath....

My albino were about 2 inches or so for like 4 years and still are, but I saw one at the pet store that had to be 6 inches long at least, it's weird how fish grow.

I do not think it was a true albino cory if it was 6". A relative? Maybe. Something like an albino Brochis splendens? Maybe. But not an average run-of-the-mill albino cory.
