Cory's and Yellow Labs?

Right now I have 6 cory's and 9 rosy red minnows in my 29 gallon tank, and its a bit boring... would yellow labs and cory's get along? Really, any suggestions on a suitable cichlid would be recommended. Fairly hardy ones would be preferred, in case my little brother had to watch them for a bit.

Not really, no. YOu might be lucky, but itæs not likely.

Ok, after reading up some more, I happened to come across Kribs. It looks like they get along with cory's and small schooling fish. So would something like this work?

Kribs would likely be ok, though if they breed they'll keep the cories pinned at the other end of the tank.
I tried keeping some corys once with my yellow labs, and it wasn't too many days before they had 'done a number' on the corys dorsal fins. They were ok with some other fish though
