I have a 75 gallon tank and would like to move in a Red Tailed Black shark that was my brother's (he is going away to college!) Problem is, I already have 3 Panda cory's in there.  Will the RTB eat/harrass them? I have heard mixed advice on this one..  some people say the RTB won't tolerate any other bottom dwellers, others say their RTB is best friends with their loaches or cory's.  What do you think?

wow you sound just like me,i just got 2 yoyo botias and i'm nervous cause i put them with my pandas, they seem so delicate.some people say that if there is only one shark it's ok but mine was just a pest.the only way to tell is to try.i always judge after i watch them and i've had the lights out for a while.if your lucky and it's friendly that would be good cause rt sharks are fun to watch.with 75 gal. their not likely to get in the way of each other.

well i never had a rts or a yo yo with cories but cories seem to get along with most fishes funny thing is i got a cory dunno what species but it's about 1.5-2" and it a longfin rosy barb from a friend who didn't want them anymore and put them in a q-tank and they would swim together seemed like they were buddies they're in my 30 gal now and they still swim together but the cory hangs out with my other peppered cory, anyways if the rts isn't to big maybe it might get along, they are kinda agressive but i think it's only to it's own that it is agressive, but like catfishmike said only way to know is to do it

With 75 gallons you should have enough room for both cories and Red-tailed black shark to get along. I've got six cories in with my Rainbow shark in a 20 and he doesn't even chase them out of "his" little cave.  Just make sure you've got plenty of caves and things created on the bottom so if the cories bother the RT too much he can move to a new location. My cories are constantly hitting him in the face with their tails as they root around the bottom, and he doesn't even chase them.
