Corys with Betta???

Has anyone done this with success? I want to put 3 Corys in the 10 gallon with my Betta and ADFs. Any thoughts?

I have never had any problems with betta's and cories in the same tank. That doesn't mean you won't, but ya never know.

i did it before and they get along very well, if ur not sure yet don't put them together but if other members tell u their success and u feel like its comfortable then u can go ahead and put them together, but hopefully they will get along

Yeah I was going to try it anyway but I wanted to know how it went for other people. Anybody else have experience with this combination?

I have kept bettas with cories and ADFs and had no problems. I remember dropping in shrimp pellets for the cories and the betta running them off, but that's all, and there was never any trouble over it. The cories would come right back.

I had 2 corys in my female betta tank with 2 ADFs. I don't think the ADFs got much food though . They got along just fine.

I recently added 3 cories to my 10 gal. tank with a male betta. The cories had problems adjusting for about 24 hours, and couldn't stay on the bottom. They would continually fight to stay on the bottom until exhaustion set in, & then float to the top looking like they were dead until they got their strength back. The betta would flare at them when they were at the top, but never attacked them. Now that they are staying on the bottom, everyone is happy.
