Cotton Mouth.. Help Quick!

i got some guppies with some cotton around there mouth and a little around there fins... i currently put some mela fix in.. cause of the box it says clears mouth fungus... help.>!! what should i do now?

Melafix is wonderful at curing cotton mouth and other fungus. Give it a few days and monitor your fish closely. If they don't start getting any better there are quite a few meds for cotton mouth.

Ditto that..perhaps some water changes might help too? Water changes and melafix are staple in my regime of disease erradication. Well, at least in the two disease outbreaks I've had those two work good as a start.

Melafix rocks, I always start with melafix, if that don't kill it then I move onto other meds. I buy the pond concenteration. With the pond concentration I only have to add 5 mL per 50 gal. I also keep Aquarium salt in my tanks and very rarely do i have any problems with fungus or illness.

if for some reason the melafix doesn't work, maroxy will. Maroxy will kill some live plants though.

That melafix smells like Vicks vapor rub to me lol.

It's Tea tree extract. You could actually use it on say a cut on your body as an antiseptic. People have been useing it for years for a treatment for Carbuncles and boils.
