Could they be eggs & if so, what from???

Hi,

I did a 20% warter change yesterday & I was looking around the tank a couple of hours later & saw what I thought were some small air bubbles on the side of my internal power filter.

I lifted the lid & tried to disperse them but they just broke loose & floated to the bottom, a little later I noticed that there were some more on the side of the tank & this evening I saw more just under the lump of Mopani.

They look like eggs & are in small clumps of transparent jelly with tiny white dots in the middle.

Any ideas???

They are probably Snail or Pleco eggs, but don't hold me to that.

Unless you're planning on raising snails, I suggest you just dispose of them. Toss them in the trash, because I really think those are snail eggs-not pleco eggs. You may be overrun by snails if you keep them.

Disposing of them shouldn't be a problem, someone's started eating them!

I'm not too convinced that they are snail eggs though, some of the clumps are twice the size of the snails & there are only 3 small snails. But hey, I'm just a beginner!

they might be neon tetra eggs. put them in a fishbowl with an airstone and let um hatch. if theyre snail, flush um. if theyre neons, then Cool !
