1.
I have 2 Blue Gouramies in my tank for about 2 weeks now ... and by the descriptions I've read on the net ... one is a male (larger) and one is female (smaller) ... and the larger one is bulling all the fish in the tank ... and tonight I caught him tugging on the smaller one's fins ... and the smaller one is always hiding and doesn't move ... just stays in one spot ... and doesn't eat either ... what shouild I do ? take them both back and get 2 more mollies ... (what I think I'm going to do)

2.
My Pictus catfish doesn't like flake food I guess ... when the flakes fall to the bottom he/she puts them in his/her mouth then spits it back out ... is that normal for these guys ... but in the morning when I turn the light back on ... there isn't any food on the bottom ... I guess he/she is eating it ... I want to get him a friend cuz they are awesome !

Usually people feed their bottom feeders stuff besides flake food, since they're nocturnal drop in some algae wafers at lights out or put in a piece of cucumber for him. He's probably eating the flake food because he's real hungry.

You could take back one or both of the gouramis...up to you. I think gouramis will be ok by themselves. OR mollies are cool :) Its up to you.

You need to feed your pictus food other than flakes, I feed mine shrimp pellets and he loves them, wont touch a flake. However I imagine yours is eating them as you say the bottom is clean in the morning and he is nocturnal so that would make sense. I presume he is eating falkes because there is nothing else. Try some pellets he'll appreciate it =)

prhelp had a simmilar problem with his blue gouramis, I'm sure he will be able to help you out.
