first sorry for the long post but thanks for stopping and reading and giving advice if you can.
ok first i have is if 2 Lohachata Botia Loach (Botia lohachata) and 3 botia stiata loaches will all school together and how they will get along together in my 55g?
2nd is if those 2 sets of loaches will school together how will a blue paradise gourami fare with them and the other fish in my tank. will a blue paradise have same aggression as a blue, opaline, or gold gourami? or are they more peaceful like dwarf gourami's? i see they say semi-aggressive.
i know with all these fish i would be a little over stocked but i will also be getting rid of my hifin pleco real soon and its up in the air about the bichir but i love him so much so i doubt i will get rid of him. that will give me the bala shark and the blue paradise gourami as my centerpiece fishes, the albino rainbow shark is out and about an awful lot so he kinda helps with the centerpiece part, i will keep my clown pleco since hes a small one and does SOME cleaning, and the 5 botia loaches hoping will school together and keep the tank really clean and free of snails as im going to end up transfering my tank into a fully planted tank and hopefully a pressurized CO2 system in the decently near future maybe within 4-5 months to get all these. im doing in certain stages on this so it wont be all at once. also i have 2 filters rated at 55g each to compensate a little more for being overstocked and will increase the water changes to a little more frequently
