crab spwaning(pics)

this buddy crab spawned 3hrice
leaving old body in some corner and becoming something new
he does this every two months
spwaning signs
1-less food intake
2-less movement
3-tiredness
4-sitting at one place like a duck(waiting for something)

i want to ask why does these crabs do this starnge behavior
any idea.......????

It's not spawning, it's shedding. Crab shells don't grow with the crab, so they have to shed their skin in order to grow.

It's perfectly normal for them to do this. All crustaceans do it.
