crabs are dying

I have a 20 gallon sw tank,all the tests are good,i have 14 crabs in it,and they are dying what could be going wrong dont understand,if anyone knows please help.I dont have any live rock,or coral,just fish only tank.

That's A LOT of crabs..what are your actual readings? are these hermit crabs...or actual crabs?

they are hermit crabs temperature is 80 and the nittrite is 0 nitrate is 0 ph is 8.2 ammonia is 0

What are you feeding them and what are the other occupants. How are you filtering this tank....what you you have for flow and water movement....please give us an idea of your overall set up.

have 2 domino damsels,penguin bio filter,2 maxi jets,1 turbo snail,and live sand

Doesn't sound like you have much in there for 14 crabs to eat...

why did u skip the live rock? IMO its kinda neccesary for a successful tank.... how old is the tank?

How your hermit crabs are doing now? Are you sure, that they are dying, not molting? Sorry for that assumption .

I feed mine a lot.
