Nope, not much difference. Crowntails, Veiltails, Delta/Double Tails, Halfmoons.. all pretty much the same. Only real difference is color. Speaking of color, though, how do you guys like this?

Crowntails are a morph of Betta splendens, so anything that the sticky says will apply to crowntails, veiltails, half moons, double tails etc. Think of it like blondes, brunettes and redheads, they're all humans, just look different :)

I have seen some fabulous bettas for sale on Aquabid (many from Asia), I just don't want to go to the trouble and expense. :)

Oh I know I can't see spending 20-50-80 for a Betta. Yes they are great fish but the expence is a killer.
i actually have 2 Crowns I got a terquiose one and gave it to the receptionist and they have it ina nice home at the front desk. He is gorguse
