Goldfish will eat cucumber no problem. Be careful with a pleco unless it is a bristle nose or bushy nose in with goldfish as they tend to suck on the goldfish and do harm to them. You can leave the peel on the cucumber, but make sure to do a water change after a while to get up left overs.

i grew english cucumber for my fish this year. they are like normal cucumbers but easier to grow and have a tough skin. they can easily go through store bought cucumber but the english one's skin lasted about a week after everything was eaten.

generally there are no cucumber reamins. everyone in my tank likes it, especially my bristle nose. he has a very few bristles and they are short. i really think the ones with big bristles are ugly. i can't stand to look at those.
