This may have already been asked and answered, but haven't found it any where.
Can you use the tank buddies ick and fungus cure at the same time? Or, should I do one then the other. Right now we are treating them for fungus. I put the fungus cure in on Saturday (Jan. 22). Going to do a 25% water change Wednesday and treat again for the fungus. If I can treat the ick at same time I'll put it in on Monday and wait until late Wednesday or Thursday to do water change. My numbers are really low on everything.

I have a 55 gal FW tank. In it I have:
2 Mollies (1 2" 1 1-1.5")
5 Platys (1 .5-1" 4 1.25-1.5")
3 Pictus Cats (1 about 1.5" 2 2-2.25")
1 Sailfin Pleco (about 5")
Around 20 Ghost Shrimp (most are fun grown at 1.5-2")

Thanks for any replys!!
:)

Thanks, to both ya'll replies. I did get a fast response. They said it'd be best to do separet, but if needed can do both.

I've tried using just salt, but the ick comes back. I'm hopeing to get rid of it for good! LOL

Thanks again.

We don't put a whole lot of salt in the tank (We've had salt in there the whole time). We did take the main fish with ich out at the first sign of it and tried treating with just salt (it was one of our Mollies), it didn't work.
We'd put her into our Betta tank (2.5 gal), and put our Betta into a Betta vase (about 1.25 gal). After two weeks we didn't see anymore ich on her, so we put her back into the 55 gal tank. That's when we noticed the ich showing up on all but the Pictus cats. So we looked and seen we could still add a bit more salt to the water (even with the cats) and raised the temp.
Then they all (except the Pleco and Pictus) had clamped fins (about a week after putting the Mollie back). But; the Pictus, and the rest, all where itching.
Jungle Labs said to be careful with (and remove if possible) the Pictus, Pleco, Shrimp and Snail. The Pleco had some ich, and the Pictus have been itching really bad.
Ultimately we decided to treat all of them (so, now we have a 55 gal sick tank :( ). We have been keeping a close watch on everything (especially the Pleco and Pictus). We have read the instructions very good (for the fungus, and ich cure), and treating as it says. Our Pleco, Pictus, Snail and Shrimp are fine, and it hasn't been bothering them

We think we have narrowed it down to one fish causing most of this. Looking back at our pictures we have seen one of our remaining first (male) Platys has been sick (clamped fins) since we got them from our friend (we got 4, 2 are still alive, 2 are dead). We have also realized the tank may not of been fully cycled when we put the first 4 Platys in. So, this may also be contributing to our problems, and the death of 6 fish.
After putting the first 4 in we added the Pleco (a day later). Then a little over 1 week later we added the Pictus (3). A week later we added 3 Mollies, and 2 female Platys. Then another week later we added 2 more female platys. After treating the Mollie in the Betta tank we added the Apple Snail to our 55 gal. We have added the Shrimp 5-7 at a time ever so often, with hopes of them being a good live snack to the cats, but they haven't been interested in them. They have been being eaten by each other, and the occasional one gets finished off by the Mollies and Platys.

Thanks to everyone that has replied, and I will keep every one up to date.
:)
