Cured ICH

Ok i am treating for ICH with my clown loaches, question is when the white spots fall off or disappear will it or could it leave scars on the fish? My loaches seem to be free of the spots but their fins still have what appears to be scars where spots were. They are both active now and very playful so stress seems to be gone and the spots have been gone for two-three days now, will keep up salt till this sunday then back off treatments per schedule i am following.

Even if there is scarring, the fins will grow back normally. Congrats on getting the ich gone.

thanks, the fins and everything are normal in shape and size and such, just appears to have like scar or black mark where spots were, i assume it is just like a scab on a sore humans get while healing from chicken pox or something. I will keep eyes on them but by sunday should be clear since tank is running at 82-84 degrees and have 1.5-2 tblspoons/gallon salt right now. Sunday w/c will drop that level down to normal so in two weeks i should have minimal salt in the tank again. ICH is scary at a glance when reading, but it is very simple in my experience to treat, grab some salt and raise the temp, the stuff i cant fix is fin rot for guppies and internal parasites... only had a few of htem in past, but i don't catch in time to heal so they go bye bye... But i am learning. Thanks for the help in matter lotus and suggestions along the way.
