Ive been running my 12 gallon saltwater tank for a week, waiting on my first move. I plan on getting like 10-15 pounds of live rock. The Kit I got which is a MarineLand Instant Ocean 12 gallon, it came with a 13 watt compact light.

My questions are:
1- Is the light enough for live rock, does the light matter if Im not doing coral?
2-Ive been reading on cured and uncured, should I buy cured rock, or uncured and cure it myself?
3-Depending on the answer for #2 how long should I leave the rock in there before I think of adding fish?
4- When it comes time to add fish, I just want some stocking advice, what kind of fish and how many.

Im trying to make sure I do this right, thanx in advance for your help

I just read the box, I dont think the light is a 13 watt, im not sure. The box says:
50/50 lighting, enhances fish/coral color, increases water clarity, provides actinic radiance for photosynthesis

Is this ok for coral??

I would buy uncured and cure it yourself, this will help cycle the tank. Live rock doesnt need a lot of light, it wont be as colorful and have the algaes and little corals on it but it will still do what its designed for which is biological filtration. That light is not adequate for corals.
