I was just wondering if anyone here has ever seen, lets say a 250 gal. tank, stocked all of the normal little aquarium fish, and not the big oscars and such. Like a school of like 70 neon tetras or something like that? Anyone?! lol Thanks! *PEACE!*

The new 1000 g. or so aquarium inside Barnes and Nobles in Inner Harbor, Baltimore is stocked mostly with smaller fish, other than Discus and Angels....

Tons of Neons, Corys, Congo Tetra, Rummy Nose Tetra, and tons and tons more. Probably the nicest Aqaurium i've seen...

the shedd aquarium in chicago has hundreds of tanks, all i'd say around 500 gallons each to a huge center one with probably a million gallons in it. some of the 500 gallon ones aren't stocked with huge fish, infact i saw some common pet store tetras in there. they have some amazing tanks in there, if you are ever in chicago and want to see some great tanks, for inspiration or just amazement, stop by the shedd aquarium. i think it's around 20 bucks a person. http://www.sheddaquarium.org/ for more info. they have everything from freshwater bluegills to deep sea jellyfish...

my bf is planning a 100g tank with like 7 schools of different small ish fish ie tetras, harlequins, etc. I think it would look awesome, but i haven't really had the opportunity to see one in person - usually people fill bigger tanks with bigger cichlids. :p who needs those when you can have a school of 50 neons... :)

In newport aquarium they have a few nice tanks... ranging probably from 100-300 gallons that have LOTS of neons and corydoras. Then in some other ones they also have discus, cories, and other South American fish. They planted it pretty well too. Nice amazon swords, wood, and other plants. I think it looks very nice. =)

Hmm, at the pet store I used to work at we had a 260g African cichlid tank....but that doesn't really count.

I really wanted to do that with my 55g but I had other fish that needed the room and I was worried about buying 30 or so neons or what not and having half of them die on me. That always seems to happend when I go to buy a school of little fish :(.
