Current usa outer orbit lighting problem

hi guys, i don't know what wrong with my lighting system, i have a 24 inches outer orbit light fixture. The metal halide light keeps on going off and on, the power compact light did the same thing then it completely died. Do you guys think the pc ballast is toast? What about the metal halide ballast? Anybody experiencing the same problem?

I have had mine for over a year and not a problem with the ballasts.....but that is what it sounds like to me.

well i heard that current usa is pretty well made, that fixture is only 6 months old, could it really be the ballast. I was thinking that it might be the pc switch.

how long did you leave the halides on? usually they warm up, spark, flicker for a bit then light up. Also, does the power supply have ample current to feed the system?

the halide usually go on for about 6 to 7 hours, the halide will all of a sudden go competely out for about 30 minutes and then comes back on. I wonder if I need to change the blub. As for now, the pc is competely dead. I thinkin of replacing the ballast but want to check the switch first.
