Curvicep Cichlids

I was wanting to make sure if this was a good species for a 10g. I couldnt find much info on the web.

10g I've seen say is ok for one. 20g+ for a pair of adults.

Okay. Thanks. I wantede to make sure. Once I upgrade to a 20g for my Cons I am going to get a Curvicep and add some neons! I am going to add it the day I add the Cons to the 20!

What type of small tetra would you suggest? Money is an important thing. I need to save as much as I can! I was also maybe thinking of Glowlights or a few Platies!

Glowlights are smaller than Neons. I dont think they are a great idea. I REALLY think that you need to do some more research on this fish AND THEN come back and ask questions.

Well I did research and asked on the Cichlid-forum and they said that in a 10g maybe 1 with some Neon Tetras. I also read that they are 10g compatible but a 20g is better. And they tend to be active!

I don't see any problems with tetras + Laetacara curviceps except if you are trying to breed them. Recommended tankmakes are Corys, tetras, etc. A very community type cichlid.

Though i would sub Cardinals for Neons, much more colorful and hardy.
