How long did it take to complete a fishless cycle in your non-seeded (no bacteria from an established tank or Bio-spira) tank?

I have never tested my water, but it took roughly 4 weeks for my 12G to cycle with a Sunfish in it. I produced a very good amount of waste to keep ammonia going.

shoot- sorry... I missed the fishless part of your post... I did fish-in cycling. Sorry- ignore one 4 week vote :p.

I've done a few tanks, but the first one was the only fishless one that didn't get seeded. Un-seeded it took about 4 weeks on the nose and then seeded it generally took about half of that.

I screwed up my first fishless cycling about 3 different ways (killed established bacteria that I added by not putting in ammonia within a few days, then wasn't adding the right amount of ammonia, then didn't wait until it was really truly cycled), and it was around 5 weeks.
