Cycling tank

I am currently cycling my tank with 6 fish and some live plants. I am wondering while im cycling do i want to do water changes and clean my filter or should i wait till my tank has finished cycling?

Yes, you definitely need to do water changes. You shouldn't rinse out the filter media in chlorinated water, and unless it's really gunked up, it's better not to rinse it until the cycle is finished.
