When you say cycling, do you mean just running the filter with water, or have you been adding ammonia? If you haven't been adding a source of ammonia, your tank isn't cycled. Also, slightly pink doesn't mean anything without knowing what kind of test you're using and what you're testing for. Read up in MissFishy's link about cycling, and when you're ready to post test results, please post numbers for ammonia, nitrite and nitrate. So, the short answer is, no, you shouldn't add fish yet unless you want to do a fish in cycle.

as stated above i would wait to add fish.
just make sure you read on cycling (as was stated above)
just a little paitence and some early knowledge will make this a great hobby
you dont want to cycle with fish in IMO its tooo much work and there are always casualties.
get a good test kit (not strips)
API MASTER TEST KIT is good
a $30.00 investment equals = having great tanks with lots of Happy Fish !!!
and of coarse water changes !!!!
