D. Gourami w/ Danios?

I have a freshly cycled (week and a half or so) 10 gallon with 6 various pairs of Danios. Would it bother the heck out of a Dwarf Gourami if he lived with a school of Danios and a Oto?

I do realize that the Danios are going to get bigger and already have plans to move them into something bigger after awhile. So, what do you think?

I am going with the inch per gallon rule. *thumbsups

I think the D. Gourami should be fine, I had one in with 5 Danios and they all did good.

arent danios 2 inches? and they eat for four...

More than 6 with a dg in a 10 is insane. but they shouldnt bother him.

Alrighty then, I've already decided to move a few pairs and turn them into trios for a mini-bow 7 gallon I'm getting for X-Mas so the DG will have less to deal with after awhile.

I asked this question not so long ago too. I want to put a dwarf gourami in one of my 10 gal.s with danios. Im still a little unsure about it as leopardess reported having problems with her danios nipping at the dwarf gouramis fins

OoOh! That problem.. I fixed that! I just weeded out all of the nippy Danios and I have a group that are nice and mellow. They won't even nip at my Betta when I put him in the tank when I clean out his bowl.

I think the petstore people thought I was crazy when I went back 4 times to exchange nippy Danios.

Me: Yeah, it was terrorizing the rest of my herd of Danios. Kinda like Hitler.

Funny about the LFS. Maybe that was a particularly nippy bunch they had if you had to exchange them 4 times

LOL, I have 1 nippy long finned danio right now that I want to take back to the LFS, Ill use your script when I go in

i have 1 blue dwarf gourami with....angel,neon,serpae,platy,swordtail,cory and oto...they all are doing very well...no problems at all
